Nitech Terms Of Service

Last updated: 21st January 2026

At Nitech, we keep things clear, fair, and straightforward. These Terms explain how our services work and what both sides can expect.

By using our website or working with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Nitech and Our Services

Nitech is a Northern Ireland–based digital and technology company.

We offer a range of services, including:

  • Website design and development
  • One-page and multi-page websites
  • Template-based and custom websites
  • Business websites
  • Basic SEO setup and search engine indexing
  • Branding services, including logos
  • Business and social profile setup (such as Google and Facebook)
  • Domain name registration
  • Website hosting
  • General software and technical services

All services are provided based on what is agreed with you before work starts.

2. Quotes, Pricing, and Payment

All work is provided based on a quote or written agreement.

  • Prices are shared before work begins
  • Payment terms are agreed in advance
  • Some projects may require payment before starting or a deposit

If payment is late, work may be paused until payment is received.

Once a quote is agreed, it will not change unless the scope of work changes.

3. Scope of Work

We deliver what is included in the agreed service. If you request extra work (additional pages, new features, design changes, extra revisions) this may involve an additional cost. We will always explain this clearly before doing the work.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide content you have the right to use
  • Ensure your content is legal and accurate
  • Respond within a reasonable time when feedback is requested

Delays in responses may delay project completion.

5. Changes and Revisions

Reasonable small changes are usually included. Larger changes, redesigns, or changes after approval may be treated as new work. We’ll always discuss this with you first.

6. SEO and Search Engines

We can set up basic SEO and submit websites to search engines. We cannot guarantee specific search rankings, website traffic levels, or sales/enquiries. Search engines operate independently and are outside our control.

7. Hosting

If you use hosting provided by Nitech: hosting is provided on an ongoing (usually yearly) basis; payments must be kept up to date; missed payments may result in suspension or removal. We aim to keep websites running reliably, but we cannot control issues caused by third-party hosting providers. Clients are encouraged to keep their own backups where possible.

8. Domain Names

If we assist with domain registration: domain costs and terms vary; domains are registered in your name unless agreed otherwise; domain fees are non-refundable once registered. We are not responsible for domain loss due to missed renewals by the client.

9. Ownership of Work

Once full payment has been made, you own your website and its content and may use it however you choose. We may display completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. Our internal systems, templates, and tools remain our property.

10. Refunds

As our services are digital and time-based: work already completed cannot be refunded; no refunds once work has started, unless agreed in writing; hosting and domain costs are non-refundable. This approach keeps things fair for both sides.

11. Liability

We are not responsible for loss of business, profits, or data; downtime caused by third-party services; hacking, malware, or external attacks; issues caused by platforms or services outside our control. If a problem does arise, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited under Northern Ireland or UK law.

12. Ending Services

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or end services if payments are not made, these Terms are breached, or services are used for illegal or harmful purposes. Completed or ongoing work is not refundable.

13. Third-Party Services

Some services rely on third parties, such as hosting providers, domain registrars, or online platforms. We are not responsible for their actions, changes, or downtime.

14. Privacy

We only collect personal information needed to provide our services, communicate with you, and manage payments. We do not sell personal data and handle information in line with UK data protection laws.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version published on our website will apply.

16. Service Agreement — Operational Model

Effective Date: 12th January 2026

Nitech operates on a strict weekly invoicing cycle. This model ensures development milestones are consistently met with high standards, while enabling us to allocate specialist resources efficiently.

Current Milestone Status

Upon completion of an intensive development phase, all comprehensive body of work, including critical system stabilisation and feature enhancements, becomes fully operational within your production environment.

Terms of Access & Continued Development

As we reach the conclusion of each weekly billing period, the following professional terms are in effect:

  • Invoice Settlement: Access to further development, technical support, and active consultancy is strictly contingent upon the full settlement of invoices for all completed work periods.
  • Work Pause: All active coding, architectural updates, and maintenance tasks will be paused if invoices remain unsettled. Our team will be reassigned to other agency priorities until the account is brought up to date.
  • Communication Suspension: Project communications, strategy meetings, and technical consultancy are suspended during outstanding invoice periods. We will resume all activities immediately upon receipt of confirmed payment.

Once outstanding invoices are settled, we look forward to proceeding with the next set of prioritised development tasks.
